DJ Khaled Unveils The Second Edition Of The Annual We the Best Foundation Golf Classic

Global superstar and Grammy Award winner DJ Khaled is pleased to announce the return of his yearly We The Best Foundation Golf Classic for a second year.

The wildly famous charity event returns to Miami in 2024, stretching over two days on Wednesday, June 12, and Thursday, June 13. He had to extend the event across two days due to the overwhelming request to participate from renowned singers, A-list athletes, and entertainment.

Jordan Brand is the event’s new sponsor. All revenues go toward supporting the We The Best Foundation’s various initiatives to improve education. In order to reveal the news of the second installment, Khaled personally went on ESPN’s SportsCenter, sparking a cultural firestorm.

Pro athletes Michael Block and Bubba Watson, Odell Beckham, Jr., Shannon Sharpe, Victor Cruz, Jalen Rose, Terrell Owens, Marcus Jordan, Jeezy, Quavo, The-Dream, Swizz Beatz, Timbaland, Fat Joe, Cedric The Entertainer, Joey Fatone, and more were present at the inaugural event last year. The organization raised more than $500,000 for educational programming, extracurricular activities, and scholarships that enhance the lives of children and youth.

DJ Khaled disclosed last November that he had a song on his upcoming album with Nigerian Grammy winner Burna Boy in an interview with Rolling Stone. The DJ and serial hit-maker claims that he has been feeling Afrobeats for a while, which is what inspired him to work with Burna Boy, the international face of Nigerian mainstream music.
