Chris Rock To Direct Award-Winning ‘Another Round’ Remake

The 2020 Danish film “Another Round” took home the Academy Award for Best International Feature Film and will have an English-language adaptation helmed by acclaimed comic Chris Rock. With his distinct vision and flair, the 58-year-old actor will spearhead the initiative. In addition to his work on “Another Round,” Chris Rock is set to direct a biopic about the iconic civil rights campaigner Martin Luther King Jr. Universal Pictures released the movie, and legendary director Steven Spielberg is an executive producer. The film is based on the best-selling biography “King: A Life” by Jonathan Eig.
