Nigerian artist Davido recently responded in a tweet to writer Ogbeni Ademola who claimed that Davido’s uncle, Governor Adeleke, only had dancing moves to offer Osun State. In response to Ademola’s long tweets, Davido replied, “Cry till thy kingdom come Cry till 2031.”

The Afrobeat musician recently talked about his upcoming Netflix documentary and twins who just arrived. On Saturday, while participating in a panel discussion at UnitedMasters SelectCon 005 in New York, Davido publicly confirmed the birth of his twins for the first time while discussing the history of Afrobeats and his early beginnings with Steve Stoute.

Davido alluded to Don Jazzy and fellow musician D’banj as the creators of current afrobeats and identified them as role models in the music business. He said he will always be adept at marketing products when talking about building brands.

Davido also discussed his late mother, who died when he was just 11 years old. Davido also disclosed that he ran a record business for four years without accepting a single dollar from an artist. Davido also said that he ran a music label for four years without receiving a penny from the signees.
