Ademola Adeleke, Davido’s Uncle, Is Appointed To The Atiku Campaign Council By The PDP

According to The Punch, Adeleke was chosen by the PDP’s PCO leadership to lead the campaign council’s Southwest coordinating committee. Aminu Tambuwal, the director-general of the PDP PCO, announced on Saturday, December 10, that Adeleke and other essential party members had been named to lead crucial campaign offices. The Atiku Abubakar presidential campaign is anticipated to be guided by the council members, including Dino Melaye, who was named the director of public relations. These appointments, according to Tambuwal, should go into effect right away.

The PDP PCO campaign council also appointed Zonal Liaison Desk Officers in addition to these positions. According to information obtained, the PDP campaign council appointed the next governor as one of its selections. The hearing on a fundamental human rights lawsuit brought against Atiku Abubakar, the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, was postponed by a Federal High Court in Awka, Anambra State. Jezie Ekejiuba, a lawyer and human rights activist from Onitsha, filed the lawsuit before Judge Hyeladzira Nganjiwa.

The Federal Government of Nigeria, the Minister of Justice, the Independent National Electoral Commission, the PDP, and Atiku have joined the lawsuit, with case number FHC/AWK/CS/198/2022. In other developments, Atiku Abubakar’s wife reaffirmed her husband’s commitment to defending the interests of women and young people.
