DJ Neptune, the boss of Neptune Records, has released a new single titled “Lagos,” which features fast-rising artist Internationalboy. The new single is DJ Neptune’s third for the year, following two earlier successful singles, “Count Your Blessings” with Spyro and “Bienvenue” with Ruger.
Neptune is so dedicated to music that he would defend his fellow industry members, like he did a few months ago when he went after BBNaija’s Kiddwaya over his comments online about the late South African rapper Costa Titch, who collapsed while performing on stage.
In response to the rapper’s demise, Kiddwaya explained what many artists rely on to cope with the pressures of the entertainment industry. He stated that they use hard substances. Not willing to let it go, DJ Neptune, who knew Costa Titch personally, rejected Kiddwaya’s remark, claiming the rapper did not drink or smoke.
He encouraged the reality star to remain silent if he had nothing useful to say. In addition, contrary to popular belief, the DJ maintains in an interview with Sunday Scoop that he does not need to be drunk before his gigs. Neptune asserted that he does not belong in such group of entertainers and that he is at his finest even when sober.
Even the new song with Internationalboy attests to this, which is why you should listen to it. The new tune is now available on all streaming services.
