Drake Announces “Scary Hours 3” And Release Date With Trailer On Social Media

To continue his most productive—and, by his admission, creatively fertile—run of success to date, Drake has announced intentions to release a new project named Scary Hours 3. Scary Hours 3 will be available in less than 24 hours, hitting streaming services on Friday, November 17 at midnight, the Toronto superstar stated on Thursday, November 16. This is even though he recently released his eighth studio album, For All the Dogs, in early October. An almost two-minute EP teaser that includes dramatic views of Toronto’s Roy Thomson Hall and a speech by Drizzy on his current good patch was posted to Instagram.

The camera elegantly captures the orchestra, with the maestro expertly leading the musicians in playing an awe-inspiring and dramatic score. Without hesitation, it zooms in on a regal invitation, leaving no room for distractions.

“October’s Very Own & The Boy Present: Scary Hours 3. Executive Producers: Noel Cadastre, Aubrey Graham, Kevin Durant.”

In 2018, Drake started an EP series, of which ‘Scary Hours 3’ is the third instalment. 2021’s ‘Scary Hours 2’ featured collaborations with Rick Ross and Little Baby, while that previous release had his diamond-certified hits “Diplomatic Immunity” and “God’s Plan.” The number of songs on this most recent release and the presence of any well-known guests are unknown. Following the success of his house-influenced album ‘Honestly, Nevermind,’ the OVO Sound hitmaker revealed last summer that he was working on ‘Scary Hours 3.’

He says,

“I’ll say this to you: I feel no need to appease anybody. I feel so confident about the body of work that I just dropped that I know I could go and disappear for, whatever, six months, a year, two years. Even though I’m not really, like, into the super lengthy disappearances for the sake of mystery,  It’s not like I’m picking up from some unfinished shit; it’s happening on its own. Who am I to fight it, right? And to fight back against the right thing would be, well, you know.”
