Drake Sends J.Cole Sweet Birthday Message; Calls Him “A Source Of Inspiration”
Drake’s admiration for J. Cole was evident as he took to Instagram Stories to wish him a happy birthday and express his gratitude for being an ongoing source of inspiration, further cementing his bromance with J. Cole. The black-and-white snapshot of Cole showcased his commanding presence, with arms crossed and a microphone in hand. In addition to celebrating Cole’s special day, Drake also made sure to extend birthday wishes to his biggest fan, his mother, Sandi Graham, who turned 64 the day before.
Cole turned 39 on Sunday, January 28, and Drake tagged him in a post.
“More life, my brother. Thank you for the years of inspiration.”
Drake always makes it a point to express his respect for J. Cole, and during his It’s All A Blur Tour stop in Montreal last summer, the Canadian rapper did just that. Prior to that, the rapper honored Cole in a similar way when he joined him on stage as a special guest on the opening night of The Off-Season Tour in 2021. Drake and J. Cole were reportedly getting ready to go on a joint tour called It’s All a Blur—Big As the What?, which was originally set to start this month but has since been moved to early February. performances of the rappers’ two hit collaborative projects, Drake’s For All the Dogs’ chart-topping “First Person Shooter” and “Evil Ways” from the album’s Scary Hours deluxe edition, will be one of the highlights of the co-headlining tour.
