Kemi Olunloyo, a contentious Nigerian investigative journalist, asserted that drug usage and cultism played a role in Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad,’s demise.
Kemi, in response to Mohbad’s passing on Friday, expressed a different view on what caused his demise. She said that Mohbad’s death was caused by the cult he joined and his drug addiction
According to the Saturday Telegraph, following reports of Mohbad being tortured and tormented by Naira Marley and a member of his crew till he passed away, followers have requested that the Nigerian Police perform an autopsy on the deceased.
Kemi Olunloyo, known for her fiery disposition, also turned her attention to Zlatan Ibile, alleging that the musician is attempting to “eat from both sides” in the aftermath of Mohbad’s untimely death. Her charges center on Zlatan’s close friendship with both Naira Marley, who has been charged in connection with Mohbad’s killing, and Mohbad himself.
The outrage stems from a viral video showing Naira Marley’s helper, Sam Larry, beating Mohbad. Zlatan can be seen stepping in to support Mohbad during the altercation. While Zlatan’s intervention appears to be a thoughtful act in honour of his late friend, Kemi Olunloyo interprets it differently.
