Kanye West Reveals He Hasn’t Touched Cash In 4 Years
American rapper and business mogul, Kanye West has revealed that he hasn’t held any form of Cash in the last four years. Kanye who recently became one of Hip-Hop’s first known billionaires isn’t one known to flaunt his wealth in possessions. However, the revelation of his dealings with cash still come as a surprise.
The multiple Grammy award-winning artist made the revelation on Sunday while catching up with a former model on his Yeezy Label, Selah Marley. The rapper was at the Balenciaga fashion event show in New York city when he ran into Selah Marley. The pair discussed topics around fashion, music and their previous engagements before a talk about cash and wealth came up.
Kanye was reportedly responding to a quiz about his personal disposition to not showing off, compared to his colleagues in the industry who are notable for throwing money around and displaying their expensive collections of wear and automobiles on social media. Explaining how much he dislikes showing off, Kanye loosely remarked that he had not even held cash four at least four years.
In the chip shared on Instagram, Saleh was seen holding some cash, which may been what led to the conversation in the first place
Kanye’s appearance at the Balenciaga fashion is coming a couple of days ahead of a scheduled release of his collaboration with the YZY Gap group, orchestrated by Balenciaga.
The company has however announcement in a statement that they were pushing back the release of the latest collection, following the tragic school shooting in Uvalde, TX which left at least 18 people, mostly students dead and many others injured.
The Yeezy Gap launch will now be held on Friday May 27th.
