Lil Jon Announces A “Guided Meditation” Album

Lil Jon has made an “Andre-3000” move. The rapper is known for his boisterous demeanour and infectious ad-libs that get the crowd pumped up. However, in his latest project, he takes a different approach and explores a new path. TMZ reports that the rapper is working on a guided meditation album inspired by “his focus on wellness and physical fitness in his personal life.” By delving into guided meditation, this unexpected shift in Lil Jon’s artistic direction demonstrates a commitment to his well-being while also aiming to provide a unique and calming experience for his fans.

The album is expected to contain ten tracks and will be released on February 16. The timing of the release is noteworthy, as Usher is set to perform during the Super Bowl Halftime Show and will also be releasing a new album. Fans have speculated about the possibility of Lil Jon and Ludacris’s surprise appearance during Usher’s hit collaboration performance, “Yeah!” as this could serve as the perfect exposure for the upcoming album.

This project marks Lil Jon’s first studio album in over a decade, since 2010’s “Crunk Rock.”. This shift in direction is reminiscent of André 3000’s recent surprise jazz album release, which featured the artist playing his flute in long ambient compositions instead of his usual rap style. Both Lil Jon and André 3000 are known for their innovative approach to music, constantly pushing boundaries and exploring new sounds. This unexpected change in genre showcases their artistic versatility and willingness to experiment with different styles.
