Jon Batiste Joins Forces With Fireboy DML And Jon Bellion On The New Track, “Drink Water”

Jon Batiste enlisted the help of Fireboy DML and Jon Bellion for his latest single, “Drink Water,” which will be released on August 18 as part of his studio album, World Music Radio. The new record follows his Grammy Award-winning album, We Are, from 2021. The new single comes after the album’s first hit, “Calling Your Name.”

It has 21 tracks and several exceptional collaborations, including Camilo, Michael Batiste, Lil Wayne, NewJeans, Kenny G, and Lana Del Rey. Batiste is no stranger to collaborations, having previously collaborated with Prince, Ed Sheeran, Stevie Wonder, Lenny Kravitz, Willie Nelson, and others. He has received numerous honors, including 14 Grammy nominations, five of which he won.

Beyond its deceptively simple title “Drink Water,” this catchy music contains a meaningful message tucked within its lyrics that serves as a metaphor for seeking consolation amid the volatility of our daily lives. Batiste’s pop sensibilities shine through, with a radio-ready song atop an engaging groove.

However, the renowned songwriter also allows his partners to shine, highlighting Bellion’s production abilities and Fireboy’s irresistible Afrobeats sound. The track flawlessly mixes all three artists’ distinct talents, showing their distinctive creativity and culminating in a really unforgettable musical experience. Check it out below:
