LUN8 To Drop Mini-album ‘Buff’ Next Month

LUN8, a budding K-pop boyband, has revealed the release date of their second mini-album, “Buff.”. The announcement came via a teaser clip on the group’s social media channels on February 13. “Buff” is set to drop on March 13 at 6 pm KST, and the band has yet to disclose more details about the upcoming album’s tracklist and other specifics. The album’s name is inspired by the video game term for upgrading players or their stats. According to Fantagio Music, the album will explore “the many dreams of youth, continuing [LUN8’s] first mini-album’s overall message of ‘taking up challenges without giving up'”.

LUN8, the eight-member band, is all set to release their new album, for which their fans have eagerly awaited. The upcoming album follows their first mini-album, “Continue?” which was released in June 2020 and was a huge success with popular tracks like “Voyager” and “Wild Heart.” The debut album’s success has set high expectations for the upcoming album.

The band comprises eight talented members, namely Ian, Junwoo, Takuma, Jinsu, Eunseop, Chael, Ji Eun-ho, and Dohyun, each bringing their unique style and sound to the band. In November 2023, LUN8wave, the band’s first-ever sub-unit consisting of members Takuma, Junwoo, Ji Eun-ho, and Eunseop, released a single titled “Playground,” which received an overwhelming response from their fans. The upcoming album explores new horizons while maintaining LUN8’s signature sound and style, promising fans an exciting and fresh musical experience. The band has worked hard to create a unique and cohesive sound that reflects their diverse backgrounds and styles. With this new album, LUN8 aims to showcase their growth and evolution as artists while continuing to captivate their audience with their infectious energy and music.
