Memphis in May: Megan Thee Stallion Included On The Beale Street Music Festival Lineup

PMegan Thee Stallion will be joining the line-up of this year’s Beale Street Music Festival as a headliner, announced by Memphis in May on Monday.

The platinum-selling and Grammy Award-winning rapper will be making her first appearance on the Beale Street Music Festival on April 30th on the ZYN stage. Other big names announced to have been added to the lineup include two-time Grammy-winning reggae artist Shaggy, and fellow Jamaican reggae fusion artist, Third World, Memphis rapper, Duke Deuce and local rockers, Tora Tora.

Beale Street Music Festival 2022 lineup will be featuring Van Morrison, Weezer, Foo Fighters, Lil Wayne and so much more.

The previously announced artistes and bands slated to performe include: Foo Fighters, Weezer, Van Morrison, Lil Wayne, The Smashing Pumpkins, Counting Crows, Three 6 Mafia, Sarah McLachlan, Death Cab for Cutie, Stone Temple Pilots and Moneybagg Yo.

Beale Street Music Festival is scheduled for April 29th to May 1st at at the Fairgrounds, Liberty Park in Memphis. Memphis in May’s usual home, Tom Lee Park, is still unavailable due to ongoing renovations. The festival was did not hold in 2020 or 2021 owing to the COVID-19 situation.
