Nicki Minaj launched her new Pink Friday 2 tour this month and fans have been trooping in in droves to see the rap queen. The run of performances is in support of the album she released last year with the same name. According to statistics, it’s already Nicki’s best-selling tour to date and could rank among the largest tours of 2024. It’s only the second night of its enormous run, but already her performances are making nightly headlines. Denver was the tour’s weekend destination after Oakland, where she made her debut last week.
She brought a look to the Denver performance that hardcore Barbz would recognize in an instant. Nicki wore the now-iconic black wig with pink extensions she once sported at the very beginning of her career. Her instantly identifiable look was worn for some of her early singles and guest appearances on other artists’ tracks. Consequently, a great deal of her admirers were thrilled to witness her go back in time and make the appearance during her very first performance of the trip. Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour was quickly brought up in conversation too, in this regard. Throughout the course of the Eras tour, Swift has reinterpreted many outfits from her past at different stops.
