Lauryn Hill Makes Surprise Appearance On YG Marley’s Coachella Set

This past weekend, the Coachella music festival experienced an electrifying moment as neo-soul legend Lauryn Hill made a surprise appearance during her son YG Marley’s set. The audience was ecstatic and could hardly contain their excitement as they witnessed one of the most iconic performers of our time. Lauryn Hill delivered an unforgettable performance, showcasing her incredible talent and vocal range as she delivered some of her most famous songs from ‘The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill’, including ‘Ex-Factor’ and ‘Lost Ones’. Lauryn Hill’s Coachella performance came after she had to postpone the remaining dates of her tour celebrating the 25th anniversary of ‘The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill’ due to a “serious vocal strain for the past month”. In November 2023, she revealed in a lengthy caption that she had been performing recent shows while on prescribed medication. However, she has returned to performing with a handful of shows across February, March, and April of this year.
