Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde Calls Out Turkish Airlines; Decries Absence Of Nollywood Movies On Their Flights

Veteran Nollywood actress Omotola Jalade has expressed her deep dissatisfaction with Turkish Airlines for not showing a single Nigerian (Nollywood) film during her 40-hour flight. Omotola, also known as “Omosexy,” pointed out that there wasn’t any lack of Nollywood films in the entertainment industry and accused the airline of discriminating against African passengers by subjecting their customers to limited options.

She voiced her displeasure in an Instagram post, claiming that the only films being shown were from Hollywood, Bollywood, Turkey, and the Middle East. The seasoned actress demanded that prejudice against African tourists and travel destinations stop and that more consideration be offered to their diverse customers. Netizens, including fellow Nollywood performers, also took to the comments section to express their viewpoints on the matter, while others shared their experiences.

She wrote:

“Dear @turkishairlines, like many other Foreign companies, you might be discriminating against African Destinations and Travelers, and that needs to stop.”
