The Announcement Of Quavo And Takeoff’s New Album Feeds Speculation About The Migos’ Breakup

Without Offset, a fellow member of the Migos, Quavo and Takeoff have recorded a number of singles and are currently working on a new album. Quavo and Takeoff’s announcement that their joint debut album was on the way fueled speculation that the Migos were breaking up. A teaser trailer for “Only Built For Infinity Links,” which will be released on October 7, was shared by the duo on Instagram.

One day after Offset gave a mashup of his solo singles on The Tonight Show, the big revelation took place. Despite the denial of a separation from the Migos team, rumors of a breakup started to spread when fans realized Offset had ceased following Quavo and Takeoff on Instagram. When the new team revealed that they were Unc and Phew, rumors about them intensified.

They also released “Us Vs. Them” with Gucci Mane and “Big Stunna” with Birdman as two follow-up singles. Along with teasing his own solo project, Offset has shied away from talking about any potential Migos breakup or Quavo and Takeoff. On “Party All the Time” for his thirteenth studio album, God Did, DJ Khaled worked with the duo.

Khaled also discussed the Migos split rumors with Zane Lowe in an interview for Apple Music. “Nobody says they’re not together, so I’m not going to be one of those guys that’s going to,” said Khaled.
