While Rendering A Duet With Emme, Her 14-year-old Child, Jennifer Lopez Uses Pronouns That Are Gender Neutral

Although Jennifer Lopez’s children are only 14 years old, they are already doing amazing feats, such as performing live on stage in Los Angeles in a duet with their famous mother. At the Dodgers Foundation’s Blue Diamond Gala, the Hustlers actress invited one of her twins, Emme, to perform with her, and attendees couldn’t help but note how purposefully Lopez used they/them pronouns while presenting her child.

“I ask them to sing with me all the time but they won’t, so this is a very special occasion because they’re very, very busy and booked and pricey,” teased the Grammy Award-winner before performing “A Thousand Years” by Christina Perri with the gifted teen. “They cost me when they come out,” she continued making jokes, “They’re worth every single penny because they’re my favourite duet partner of all time. So if you would indulge me.”

While the majority of the emphasis was on their singing, the couple also dazzled in their evening attire choices. While their mother wore a turquoise outfit with a feathered accent, Emme wore an oversized bright pink top, shorts, and matching black hat and boots.

In other news, Lopez made care to acknowledge both her own father and her fiance Ben Affleck on Father’s Day over the weekend.
