50 Cent Announces A Change In His Pronouns

50 Cent has stated that he no longer considers himself to be a person, and that he would rather to be called “thing/it” as opposed to using the pronouns “he” or “him.” A collection of images from Fif’s Final Lap Tour, which is now in Europe, was posted on Instagram on Monday, November 13, along with his statement.

50 emphasized his views in a second post on Wednesday (November 15), after his previous announcement had inevitably garnered media attention.

Hip-hop singer 50 Cent is not the first to talk about pronoun changes. Lil Uzi Vert stated in 2022 that they now prefer to be addressed using the gender pronouns they/them.

In an interview with 032c magazine earlier this year, the Philadelphia rapper discussed their change and stated that they took their time learning about gender identities before taking the leap. Uzi went on to refute the idea that they are “brave” for making the announcement.

In unrelated 50 Cent news, the legendary Queens rapper has joined the elite, almost inaccessible 10 million club. Chart Data shared a post saying that the G-Unit boss’s 2003 Get Rich or Die Tryin’ anthem “In Da Club” was recently certified diamond on November 1st, two whole decades after it was first released.
