Wizkid Shows His Admiration And Respect For Prophet Odumeje
Nigerian Afrobeat singer and Starboy Entertainment boss, Wizkid used his X account to interact with followers on April 29, 2024, a rare occasion when he was online and not without controversy.
Wizkid called a video featuring Flavour and Prophet Odumeje, also known as Indaboski Bahose, promoting their most recent song, “Powers,” his “favourite video in life” in one of his numerous posts. The video featured Prophet Odumeje, a well-known clergyman and musician, looking colorful in a flashy red two-piece outfit. Flavour is shown supporting him as he proudly poses for the camera and lists all of his various talents.

After Wizkid expressed his adoration for the prophet, followers sent him more videos of the Odumeje, which he uploaded and commented on. Nigerian musician Odumodublvck said that he had shared Wizkid’s remarks with the prophet in a video call with Odumeje, sharing a photo of the two of them together. In response to Odumodublvck’s post, Wizkid asked him to give the prophet his regards.

After multiple videos of Prophet Odumeje preaching went viral during 2020’s infamous pandemic, he became famous online. Odumeje, who previously boasted of having various capabilities, pledged to use some of his abilities to aid Nigeria in fending against the depreciation of the naira. He delivers on this promise by revealing his talents in his most recent song, “Powers,” which features Flavour.
