Peruzzi Demands His Respect; Reveals He Has Written Over 200+ Songs For Industry Colleagues

Peruzzi, a renowned stage name for singer-songwriter Tobechukwu Victor Okoh, has boasted about penning over 252 songs for his peers in the Nigerian music industry.  Peruzzi was regarded as a major force in the industry during his time with DMW and is well-known for his prolific pen play. Despite his admirable contributions to the industry, he has always felt that his reputation and street cred have been questioned, particularly since he left DMW. However, the superstar isn’t having any of it anymore.

According to the famous songwriter, in a response to detractors, he gets requests from top Nigerian musicians for assistance on their songwriting and it’s no small feat. Using his verified X account, Peruzzi boasted that he is the “oracle” that their favorite players “consult” when they need hits and he urged his rivals’ fanbase to stop treating him disrespectfully. He added that he would soon be giving interviews for certain exposes and that there are many intellectual property thieves in the Nigerian music industry. Netizens also reacted to his tweet as many supported his stance while others made banter related comments.

He wrote,
