The Nigerian entertainment market is endlessly fascinating because practically everything becomes news. This time, “Biggest Bird” Wizkid is the news’ main story because he recently unfollowed everyone on Instagram.
The Starboy Frontline Act, who recently indicated forthcoming new music, may have cleaned up his Instagram page to serve that purpose. Ayodeji Balogun, better known by his stage name Wizkid, is a talented singer, songwriter, and performer from Nigeria. After unfollowing everyone on Instagram save one person, he stirred up conversation among followers. The Grammy-winning singer-songwriter is known for his enigmatic celebrity persona. Three days after suggesting on Twitter that he might be releasing new music soon, Big Wiz has continued down his cryptic path by unfollowing everyone (even his team) on Instagram save for street-hop artist and vocalist Naira Marley. Although there is no evidence linking Wizkid and Naira Marley, their interactions over the years have revealed that they respect and adore one another, leading to musical collaborations.
