Yo Gotti Shares Information On Mozzy’s Signing, During The CMG Records 2022 Press Conference

CMG Records’ 2022 press conference went down on Thursday, and Yo Gotti had a revelation to make.

The imprint founded by Yo Gotti in 2012, announced the event on social media Wednesday, promising “major announcements” from its team. The Memphis rapper was joined on stage by rappers, BlocBoy JB, 42 Dugg, EST Gee, and Moneybagg Yo.

Minutes into the event, Gotti was asked about a rumored collaborative project from 42 Dugg and EST Gee. The label boss directed the question to his artists.

“Yeah, we got something comin’,” Dugg said. “Me and Gee been working on our tape … That shit coming soon. We finishing that right now. Just be ready for it.”

Shortly after, Gotti made the announcement about the latest addition to the CMG family: none other than Mozzy, the talented rapper from Sacramento.

“I always wanted to work with an artist from the West Coast…” he said. “After years of having big conversations, running into each other, and sharing ideas, we come here tonight to let you know … we’re bringing our dawg Mozzy into CMG.”

Mozzy then stepped on the stage to shed more light on how the deal came to be.

The press conference comes just hours after You Gotti had dropped the video for “Giving Back,” a standout track off his new album, CM10: Free Game.
