American actor Walter Bruce Willis was born on March 19, 1955. He rose to stardom in a starring role on the comedy-drama series Moonlighting and went on to star in more than a hundred movies, earning acclaim for his portrayal of John McClane in the Die Hard franchise. Willis made his music debut in 1987 with The Return of Bruno. He then followed it up with two more albums in 1989 and 2001.

In 2015, he made his Broadway debut in the production of Misery. Throughout his career, Willis has won a number of honors, including a Golden Globe, two Primetime Emmys, and two People’s Choice Awards. In 2006, he was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
