Nollywood Veteran Natty Bruce Is Dead
Actor and producer Natty Bruce Idigbogu has passed away, sending Nollywood into mourning. Journalist and lecturer Shaibu Husseini shared news of his passing on social media. Cause of death has yet to be revealed to the public. According to the journalist, Natty Bruce always wanted to make a feature-length combat film that the Nigerian and international communities would find entertaining but now, death had robbed the industry of such a dream.
In his post, Shaibu Husseinit noted that Natty Bruce Idigbogu, a legendary producer, stunt coordinator, and director in Nollywood, passed away at 57. His death will come as a shocker, as not too many months have passed since the passing of another legendary actor, Saint Obi. Bruce used his profession to bring martial arts and various movies together when he was alive, according to the lecturer, who has frequently discussed why Nigerian films don’t receive too many international wins. The tragic death of Natty Bruce has shocked and dismayed online users who have taken time to react and send their farewells.
