Christopher ‘Ludacris’ Brian Bridges was born on 11 September 1977 in Champaign, Illinois, and later moved with family to Oak Park as a youngster. Ludacris went to Centreville, Virginia, where he attended Centreville High School for one year after attending Oak Park River Forest High School in his ninth-grade year.1995 saw his graduation from Atlanta, Georgia’s Banneker High School. He attended Georgia State University to study music management from 1998 to 1999. In addition to his more distant English and Native American ancestry, Ludacris is the son of two African American parents. He is distantly related to the actors Katt Williams, Monica, the late Richard Pryor, and the singer Monica. After relocating to Atlanta, Georgia, Ludacris composed his first rap song at nine. Three years later, he joined a novice rap group. Additionally, Ludacris is also a Pilot.
