This French lady leads the bevy of wealthiest women out there, with an impressive fortune of 93 billion as of 2023. A writer, pianist and philanthropist, she did not exactly build her wealth from scratch but acquired2 it from her grandfather, Eugène Schueller.

The Walmart heiress has an impressive fortune of $62.1 billion. She was previously the world’s wealthiest woman (2020). She lost that position soon after but retained a spot among the top 20.
3. Julia Koch
She inherited her staggering fortune from her late husband, David Koch and has done a great job of keeping that fortune while also donating to philanthropic courses across the United States.
4. Mackenzie Scott
Following her divorce from Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, Mackenzie Scott got a chunk of Jeff Bezoz’s wealth, which catapulted her into the realm of the world’s richest women. She has been there since.
5. Jacqueline Mars
The joke is that her fortune stretches to Mars – obviously a play on her name. But then, Jacqueline Mars, an American citizen and heiress of the American candy company of the same name (Mars), has earned her spot.
6. Gina Rinehart
The first and only Australian on our list, Gina Rinehart made her fortune from Hanconk Prospecting, a mineral exploration and extraction company founded by her father. Her wealth might have suffered dips in the past, but she has manged to retian her spot among the world’s wealthiest women.

Miriam Adelson is an Israeli-American with majority ownership of the Las Vegas Sands – the source of much of her fortune. A physian and publisher, Miriam has also been honoured by the city of Jerusalem as well as the United States under former President Donald Trump.

Susanne Klatten takws the eight spot on our list, with a fortune of $26 billion as of 2023. She made much of her fortune from the pharmaceutical and manufacturing company she inherited from her father. She also has a substantial stake in BMW.
