Ice Spice’s “Ex Best Friend” Exposes Texts From Her Criticizing Nicki Minaj

American femcee, Ice Spice, shot to fame suddenly as one of the biggest names in rap music. Her song “Munch” started trending online, which is when it all started. However, not long after, she rose to superstardom because to hits like “Karma” featuring Taylor Swift and “Boys a Liar Pt. 2” with PinkPantheress.

However, Nicki Minaj was one of her first significant supporters in her professional life. Shortly after Spice’s success, the two collaborated on two songs: “Barbie World,” which was taken from the Barbie movie soundtrack, and a remix of Spice’s song “Princess Diana.” Recently, a new debate has emerged surrounding the latter song.

A friend of Ice Spice seems to have released some details regarding the behind-the-scenes drama around the song. Sharing a number of texts exchanged between the two, she refers to herself as the rapper’s “former best friend.” Nicki tried to reach an agreement that would have given her a significant portion of Spice’s publication rights for the song, according to Spice’s disclosed texts.

In an especially scathing message, Spice refers to Nicki as “ungrateful and delusional” and says that their friendship was destroyed by the whole publication scandal.

This week has seen a lot of attention for Spice’s best pal. She has clashed with Lil Nas X on Twitter and even called out Drake.
