B.I Hints At New, Forthcoming “Global Album Project” For 2022

B.I has announced his plans to drop a “global album project” for this 2022.

On Thursday, April 21st, a cryptic announcement video was shared on the singer-rapper’s YouTube channel, completely animated with a cyberpunk aesthetic that comes off as a signal to the visual concept for the new body of work.

As the teaser came to an end, it gets revealed that plans are underway for a pre-release single and two EPs to be released this year under the project titled ‘Love Or Loved (LOL)’. In the months to come, more details would be unveiled.

It was formerly disclosed months ago in February that B.I had plans for singles, a global EP and tours this year, following the K-pop idol’s new deal sealed with United Stated-based talent management agency, Wasserman. Also, he is currently being managed by Billie Eilish‘s agent, Tom Windish, for promotions in North and South America, together with Australia.

B.I’s last studio effort was his six-track ‘Cosmos’ “half album” that arrived in November 2021, that featured a lead single bearing the same name. It was also his first project that followed his debút solo album, ‘Waterfall’ in June, which housed collabs with K-pop vocalist, Lee Hi (on ‘Daydream’) and rapper, Tablo of Epik High (on ‘Stay’).
