Eminem Is Ready With New Music; Hints At Joint Project With 50 Cent

This is one news story that will have hip-hop heads smiling as two veterans are coming back to the game—and this time, together again.

In addition to expressing interest in collaborating with 50 Cent on an album, Eminem has intimated that he is working on new music. The legendary Detroit rapper dropped a hint about new music when he said, “I’m working on a little something,” to DJ Whoo Kid on the radio program Shade 45. Following that, Whoo Kid questioned Eminem about a possible joint album with 50 Cent, to which the head of Shady Records responded. It was also disclosed by Em that he has been attempting to convince Fif to record a new album.

“I don’t know where that’s come from but it’s crazy.”

“I’m trying to get him to make a new album so bad. We need another 50 album like really bad. 50’s on a roll right now. He’s been on a roll since the tour.

“I told him whatever the fuck he needs from me, I’m here. That shit’d be crazy, though — an album with me and him.”

Em has mostly kept quiet on the possibility of releasing another album, despite fans’ constant cries for new songs. On the flip side, 50 Cent has hinted that he may be working with Dr. Dre again on a new record, which would be their first since Animal Ambition in 2014. A TV show based on Eminem’s legendary battle rap film 8 Mile is also being developed, in part by 50 and the rapper. In 2002, Eminem signed 50 Cent to Shady Records. The rapper known for “In Da Club” released four albums at the company before leaving due to disagreements with Jimmy Iovine, the head of Interscope.
