During the live eviction episode on Sunday, reality show host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu announced this. The housemates nominated to be kicked out were Alex, Ceec, Whitemoney, Adekunle, Neo, Mercy, and Ilebaye. Whitemoney, the season six champion, was the first contestant to leave the house that night. In that order, Sholzy, Neo, and Alex were the next contestants to leave. The tension in the house was palpable as Ebuka called out each contestant’s name. Whitemoney’s departure has added an edge of uncertainty and suspense to the show, as he was touted as one of the favourites, and has left a void, as he had been a solid and entertaining presence throughout the season. As Sholzy, Neo, and Alex followed suit, the remaining housemates anxiously awaited their fate, uncertain of who would be next to leave the competition.

After a fight with Pere, who now has two strikes but avoided eviction, Alex received a strike prior to being evicted. Following that, Neo shocked some admirers on social media with his eviction. Houseguests Kim, Oprah, Lucy, and Prince, who were all booted from the show earlier, saw the last of the quartet, Sholzy, join them as his time in the house ended. Sholzy also had his turn on the show and won the HOH that kept him an extra week. When his name was announced to be evicted, his celebratory dance continued to trend on social media following his exit.

Last week, Doyin and Kim Oprah were the housemates booted off the show as the competition for the N120 million top prize continues to heat up.
