BBNaija All Stars: Seyi Is Persuaded That Nigerians Are Furious With Him For His Misogynistic Remarks

During a talk with fellow Big Brother Naija All Stars contestant Venita Akpofure, Seyi Awolowo stated that the country is upset with him. He stated that Nigerians are very disappointed in him as a result of his disrespectful and nasty remarks regarding women.

This comes only one week after Seyi confessed to Whitemoney that he made a miscellaneous account for his son in order for him to have sex with other people’s daughters. Seyi declared that he would urge his sons to “run train” on other people’s daughters during a conversation with his housemates.

Dictionary.com states that “to run train (or run a train) refers to when multiple men have sex with a woman one after the other, with or without consent.”

Viewers and social media users have extensively denounced this comment and accused Seyi of encouraging rape culture and objectifying women. Social media users have criticized Seyi as a result of the statements. Seyi has also expressed a wish to “slap” Ilebaye, another housemate. The demand from viewers is for him to be eliminated from the competition.

Seyi’s remarks have also been denounced by the Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Agency (DSVA), which described them as “harmful” and “contributing to a culture of violence and abuse.” The DSVA has advised viewers to contact the organization if they witness any acts of violence or abuse.
