Beck And Phoenix Join Forces For New Single “Odyssey”

Beck and Phoenix have collaborated on a new song dubbed “Odyssey” in advance of their co-headlining tour. Thomas Mars, a member of Beck and Phoenix, provided the vocals for the song, which was written, produced, and performed by them. Check out the brand-new song below.

On August 1, the indie rock powerhouses will launch one of the most eagerly awaited tours of the summer in Seattle, Washington, before touring across the United States and Canada. On September 10, the journey will come to a close at Maryland’s renowned Merriweather Post Pavilion. Jenny Lewis, Japanese Breakfast, Weyes Blood, and Sir Chloe will be the opening acts on particular occasions.

Hyperspace was Beck’s most recent release in 2019. For his “Old Man” cover, he received a nomination for Best Rock Performance at the 2023 Grammys. Phoenix released Alpha Zulu in November of last year, their first album since 2017’s Ti Amo. Phoenix included Pusha T during their performance at the We Love Green Festival in Paris earlier this month.

The rapper changed the lyrics in a song that combined their early song “Funky Squaredance” with the Alpha Zulu track “All Eyes on Me.” At The Black Keys’ most recent concert in Paris, Beck sang his smash song “Loser” live alongside the band. But in the meantime, listen to the joint new single below.
