Brazilian Singer Darlyn Morais Dies From Spider Bite Wound

Darlyn Morais, a well-known vocalist in Brazil, has died. This sudden death resulted from getting bitten in the face by a spider. Morais reportedly became unwell in his northeastern city of Miranorte on October 31 following the bite. According to Morais’ wife, Jhullyenny Lisboa, who spoke to Brazilian news site G1, his 18-year-old stepdaughter also got bitten by the spider and is presently in the hospital in a stable condition. Lisboa claimed that as a result of the bite, Morais developed physical exhaustion and that the colour of the facial bruise began to change to a darkened one. Later in the week, Morais experienced adverse responses. He went to a Miranorte hospital, received treatment, and was released on Friday.

Lisboa said,

‘He felt weakness in his body and his face started to darken on the same day (October 31), He went to the hospital and was admitted to Palmas General Hospital this Sunday.’

At age fifteen, Morais entered the music business and sang forró, a popular music genre in northeastern Brazil based on a fusion of accordion, zabumba, and metal triangle. He and his brother played in a modest three-piece band. Morais quickly gained recognition for his exceptional vocal abilities and charismatic stage presence. As their band gained popularity, they began performing at local festivals and events, captivating audiences with their energetic performances and infectious rhythms.

His cousin, Wesleya Silva, told media,

‘He was always surrounded by friends, and it was always a reason to celebrate for him,’. ‘Always very happy and smiling with everyone around him. Owner of a giant heart, always helping the people around him.’

Morais was planning a live show for January 2024 that would be recorded and distributed on DVD, according to his friend Samuel Zhytor. He and his wife had a one-year-old boy and a six-year-old girl.

‘He was always very loved here in the region,’ ‘He always gave me a lot of opportunities inside and outside the state.’
