Since the song’s debut last week, BLACKPINK hasn’t performed it live until now. Last Friday saw the release of BLACKPINK’s second studio album “Born Pink,” which also presented the pre-release single “Pink Venom” and the song “Ready For Love,” which the group had previously debuted at a virtual concert with PUBG Mobile.

The music video for “Shut Down” was also released on the same day. Longtime BLACKPINK collaborator, Bekuh Boom, recently discussed her contribution of the B-side “Typa Girl” to the album in an interview with Variety, revealing that she had initially expected the song would appear on member Lisa’s upcoming solo album.

BLACKPINK will start their “Born Pink World Tour” in 2022 later this year to promote the album. Midway through October, the tour will begin with a two-night residency in Seoul before heading to North America and Europe. Throughout the first half of 2023, the concert is scheduled to stop at several cities in the Asia-Pacific area.
