Hit-Boy, The Alchemist, & Big Hit Promote Their Upcoming Album; Recreate “Iconic” Scene

Hip-hop fans eagerly anticipate the release of “Black & Whites,” an upcoming project from two of the industry’s most talented and respected producers, Hit-Boy and The Alchemist. These two producers have been creating memorable beats for decades, and their collaboration promises to be one of the most exciting albums of the year. Fans were thrilled when they heard the mini three-track EP called THEODORE & ANDRE back in February, which featured a guest appearance from Johnathan Hulett. The EP gave fans a taste of the collaborative talents of these two iconic producers and left them wanting more. Fortunately, fans didn’t have to wait long before Hit-Boy himself uploaded a trailer for the upcoming album on social media, leaving everyone even more excited for the release.

The album trailer features a funny reference to the classic 1999 comedy film Office Space, which has left fans even more eager to hear the album. In the trailer, the trio humorously reenacts the iconic printer-smashing scene with keyboards instead. The album’s release date has yet to be revealed, but fans eagerly anticipate the dark and gritty tone promised in the trailer.

Hit-Boy and The Alchemist are joining Hit-Boy’s father, Big Hit, on this project. Despite facing tough times after being found guilty and convicted of a hit-and-run in Los Angeles in 2014, which led to severe injuries, he has been collaborating with his son since his caretaker served nine years of a 12-year sentence. Together, they have released several successful albums, including Paisley Dreams with The Game and Big Hit’s debut album, The Truth Is In My Eyes. They also dropped SURF OR DROWN, Vol. 2, in June 2023.

Fans eagerly anticipate the release of Black & Whites, which promises to showcase the incredible talents of three iconic producers. This album is touted to undoubtedly be one of the most talked-about releases of the year, cementing the status of Hit-Boy, The Alchemist, and Big Hit as some of the industry’s most talented and respected producers.
