Kizz Daniel Shuts Down The OVO Arena With A Stellar Performance
Nigerian Afrobeats superstar Kizz Daniel, recently performed at the OVO Arena on May 4, and it was a night full of incredible events that left fans so giddy.
Kizz Daniel made an impressive and traditional entrance to set the tone for the evening instead of entering the stage with a cliched fanfare. Talking drums provided a rhythmic backdrop for the Yoruba Oriki chants, which are a cultural practice of praising and honoring persons. The tone for a night full of Nigerian culture was immediately set by this unusual entry.
Throughout the performance, Kizz Daniel gave his audience even more joy with an unexpected and touching gesture. While it’s common for performers to invite supporters onto the platform during concerts, female fans are usually given preferential treatment.
The male audience members were whipped into a frenzy when Kizz Daniel chose a male fan, defying expectations. In contrast to musicians such as Omah Lay, who are renowned for allowing female fans on stage particularly for a more personal encounter, this act of inclusivity was quite different.

Kizz Daniel’s wife also shocked him by going on stage with him later in the concert when he was performing the love ballad Showa. Before she left with grace, the two shared a passionate kiss, giving viewers a peek of their real-life bond.
