Chinedu ‘Aki’ Ikedieze Talks On-Screen Chemistry With Osita ‘Paw-Paw’ Iheme And Why Many Think They Are Twins
If you have been a lover of Nollywood productions, then Aki and Paw-Paw will not be strange to you as the duo have often featured in projects that will remain gold, especially in the eyes of millennials. The duo have often been regarded as siblings, and this will not be the first time one of them will be talking about their connection.
Many people “thought they were twins,” according to veteran Nollywood actor Chinedu Ikedieze, aka Aki, because of his on-screen chemistry with Osita Iheme. He asserted that despite their similar heights and scheming on-screen personas, they have individual traits that set them apart. The 45-year-old actor said this during a recent interview with Naija Mouth-Piece.
He said,
“Whenever people want to see one of us [me and Osita Iheme] , they would always want to see the two of us because they have that imagination of our mischievousness in the movies playing out in real life in their mindset.
“But that wasn’t a limitation for me because I am Chinedu Ikedieze, and he is Osita Iheme. As much as we play together, I have some qualities or traits that somewhat differentiate me. He has his own too that differentiates him a little bit from me regarding some things.
“But when it comes to the movies, people would want to see us together…Sometimes I will go for an event, and they [fans] would say, ‘Where is your brother? Why didn’t he come with you?’
“Because of our synergy in movies, people thought we are twins. So, they don’t believe that we could ever have seperate lives. They always believe that whenever you see one, you must see the other.”
