In a recent interview with YouTuber Tayo Aina, Nigerian superstar Davido Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, opened up about his early music career, his growth in the industry, and his first encounter with music executive Don Jazzy. The singer, who recently made headlines with the acquisition of one of the 150 limited editions of Mercedes-Maybach cars, described his first meeting with Don Jazzy as an extraordinary experience, likening it to encountering Jesus.
Davido acknowledged Don Jazzy as his mentor, stating that it took guts to stand in his presence during their first meeting together. “Don Jazzy was my mentor. I remember the first time I saw him, it felt like I was looking at Jesus. It was truly amazing,” Davido said.
