Davido Lights Up The Iconic Madison Square Garden With A Historic Show

Davido has now become the third musician from Nigeria to sell out the renowned Madison Square Garden!

The Grammy-nominated Afrobeats artist excited the crowd with an incredible performance in Madison Square Garden on April 17, 2024, as part of his Timeless Tour. Before his first performance at Madison Square Garden, which has a capacity of 19,000, Davido has been generating excitement on social media.

To promote the show, which is expected to be another significant achievement in his storied career, Davido also stopped by Sway’s Universe radio. Davido thrilled the crowd during the sold-out show by performing a number of his great tunes, including ones from his groundbreaking fourth album “Timeless.”

Fans who attended the concert posted videos of it online, capturing special moments like Davido’s upbeat rendition of his verse from Kizz Daniel’s remix of “Twe Twe.” Although Davido was the main attraction during the show, Zlatan, a popular street rapper in Nigeria, made an unexpected appearance.

Videos that have been circulated online also purportedly show Davido giving $50,000 to a fan in order to pay off their college loan.

After Burna Boy and Wizkid, Davido is the third Nigerian singer to headline Madison Square Garden, marking another epoch-making event in the history of Afrobeats.
