Davido Makes A Second Epic Appearance On The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon

Jimmy Fallon’s The Tonight Show makes a comeback this week featuring some of the biggest celebs including Dwayne Johnson, Joel Kinnaman, Cher, Taika Waititi, Sterling K. Brown, Tim Allen, and Kenan Thompson and Kel Mitchell. In the musical lineup were Cat Power, Offset and Nigeria’s adored superstar, Davido.

As Afrobeats continues its world domination and complete takeover of the United States music space, Davido stays contributing his quota to the culture. OBO, who is currently one of the few artists at the forefront of African music’s global push, made a stopover to promote his fourth studio album “Timeless,” at The Tonight Show.

Davido rendered a beautiful medley of “Feel” and “Unavailable,” the two biggest hits off his Grammy-nominated album “Timeless.” And this couldn’t come at a better moment, since he turns 31 today. In addition, this recent performance marks his second visit on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and his second live TV appearance, further showcasing him as one the leaders of the Afrobeats global movement.

He also recently celebrated his three Grammy nominations for hit tracks off his new album and the blockbuster album itself in the newly carved out Afrobeats category. Furthermore, before his performance at Jimmy Fallon’s show, OBO had played at the renowned Colbert’s The Late Show.
