Davido has responded to a Billboard article naming his album “Timeless” as one of the top albums of 2023 thus far. Multiple award-winning singer and performer David Adeleke, better known as Davido, took to social media to respond to a recent article published by popular media outlet Billboard, in which his fourth studio album “Timeless” was named one of the best albums of the year 2023 thus far.
According to Billboard, the album is the most popular afrobeats record thus far in 2023. According to Billboard, Davido’s latest album is a masterpiece of the umbrella genre, integrating Afropop, dancehall, high life, amapiano, and hip-hop for a statement effort that is perhaps the best of his career. They also mentioned the album’s production, claiming that its textures and sound production connect the album together and allow it to flow fluidly through its mix of influences without sounding out of place.
Following his spectacular performance at the Juneteenth 2023 festival in the United States, the musician went on to social media to express his gratitude for the accolades.
However, Billboard is not the only foreign media outlet that has recognized Timeless, as Rolling Stone magazine has also named it one of the finest albums of 2023 thus far.
