Davido Sends His Warmest Wishes To Zimbabweans During Their Ongoing Presidential Elections

David Adeleke, widely known as Davido, a multi-award-winning singer and performer, went on social media on Wednesday, August 23, to comment on Zimbabwe’s ongoing presidential election. In a message on X, formerly known as Twitter, the musician wished Zimbabweans a successful and peaceful election as they determine who would fill the role of president for the next many years.

This will be the first presidential election since the late Robert Mugabe’s victory, and the second democratic election in Zimbabwe’s history, according to Al Jazeera. In Wednesday’s election, the nation were to choose a new president, 210 national lawmakers, and 1,970 local, regional, and municipal officials.

David, who is now in Ghana, also revealed that the music video for his popular song Feel would be released as soon as Unavailable surpassed 100 million views on YouTube, which it has. Recently, Latto and Davido were seen performing their hit song “Unavailable” together at the AfroNation Festival in Detroit.

This comes after Michelle Alozie, a Super Falcons player, gave the Afrobeats superstar a Super Falcons jersey while they were visiting America. Alozie posted a picture of herself to social media on Tuesday handing Davido an actual Super Falcons jersey with her last name and team number on it, sparking several reactions among fans and admirers of both stars.
