Wizkid Accidentally Throws His £100K Ring To Fans During His London Concert Alongside His Balmain Jacket
Wizkid, a well-known Afrobeats musician, caused a stir when he unintentionally threw his jacket and an exquisite ring worth £100K into the audience during his performance at Tottenham Stadium. Wizkid’s name has been linked with being a powerful crooner as a result of the singer consistently selling out venues for events despite their enormous capacities.
According to reports, the singer wanted to toss his jacket to his grateful fans, but also threw his ring, which is reportedly estimated to be worth 100,000 pounds, in addition to putting on a performance that was worth their time and money.
After the event, British-Nigerian podcaster Adesope Olajide expressed his disappointment at having missed the chance to choose the ring before it vanished during an Instagram live session. He put the ring’s incredible value at £100,000 (or almost N85 million).
Olajide, who has a history of successfully recovering rings from performances by other artists, expressed remorse over missing the opportunity to seize the coveted possession. He was open about the fact that he had previously been lucky to have caught jewelry belonging to performers like Zlatan Ibile and Diamond Platnumz at their concerts.
Wizkid mistakenly threw his £100k ring with his jacket to the crowd at his Tottenham Stadium show and Big Wiz immediately called the jeweler while the show was going on to make another one for him on the spot. Somebody just cashed out £100k 🤭#WizkidxTottehamStadiumpic.twitter.com/AsHcewtuNm
