Deap Vally Announce Farewell Tour To Cover UK And Europe

The well-known female rock band has reached its destination. As they announce their split, Deap Vally has planned a farewell tour of the UK and Europe for 2024. This year, the Los Angeles rock duo will stage several farewell gigs in the US, UK, and Europe, performing their whole debut album “Sistrionix” live. In September, the band announced their dissolution and a farewell tour of the US, revealing that recording and touring were no longer “compatible with our current lives.”.

Beginning on May 20 at Lisboa Au Vivo in Lisbon, the duo’s European tour will include stops in Madrid, Paris, Barcelona, and other cities. On June 3, they’ll begin their UK tour in Brighton’s Concorde 2, and they’ll go on to perform in Manchester, Glasgow, London, and other cities. General ticket sales begin Monday, February 5, at 9:00 a.m. GMT. As an alternative, on Friday, February 2, a pre-sale also begins.

The news of Deap Vally’s re-recorded debut album, “Sistrionix 2.0,” which is already available, coincides with the tour announcements. This album is a revisited and re-recorded version of their breakout 2013 LP, with demos, previously unheard covers, rarities, and more. Lindsey Troy talked about the new song “Ain’t Fair (Deap Vally’s Version)” from the album in a press release.

‘Ain’t Fair’ is such a tune. It’s a groover and a banger. Some of my favourite Deap Vally lyrics.  This song is one of the most underrated Deap Vally songs of all time. Somehow it got lost as a B side and we’re so happy it’s finally gonna see the light of day.”

In a previous press statement, Julie Edwards said:

“We’re just going to go to play as many places as we can and say farewell to everyone. Though the band is playing live for the last time, the door is open to us to collaborate. Now we’re all about re-establishing a workflow and connection around our friendship, after all we’ve shared together along the way.”
