DJ Kaywise’s Cryptic Post Sparks Concern Among Fans and Celebrities
Prominent Nigerian disc jockey, Ayorinde Kehinde Okiki, widely recognized as DJ Kaywise, recently alarmed his vast fanbase with a perplexing Instagram post. On September 13, 2023, the renowned record producer shared a message that hinted at a possible drastic action on his part. The post stated, “I’ll end it all by 9 pm tonight, I did my best.” This message sent shockwaves through the entertainment industry, with fans and fellow celebrities expressing their deep concern and urging the DJ to reconsider any impulsive decisions.
The outpouring of worry was evident in the comments section of the post, with many pleading with DJ Kaywise to remain strong. Some called on close friends and family members to check on him, emphasizing the importance of mental health support. Several celebrities also voiced their anxiety, highlighting the close-knit nature of the entertainment community.
However, in a turn of events, DJ Kaywise addressed the situation in a video message shared on his Instagram page the following night. Contrary to the widespread belief that the DJ was harboring suicidal thoughts, he clarified that his post was not a cry for help in that regard. Instead, he aimed to address some malicious allegations made against him by a blog named “Gistlover.” In his video, DJ Kaywise expressed his desire to set the record straight regarding the misconceptions that have been circulating for years due to the blog’s claims.
He captioned the video, stating, “I hope this ends it all. The general public misrepresentation of my recent post as a sign of suicidal thoughts highlights the urgency of addressing these issues. It’s crucial for the public to dissociate my name from the misconceptions initially perpetuated by a malicious blog called Gistlover, and I am glad I can rectify the false impressions that have been spreading over the years.”
