Fan Take: 21 Savage Reportedly Makes Gunna Reference On New Album ‘American Dream’

There have been circulating rumours that 21 Savage has taken a shot at Gunna on a track from his latest album, “American Dream.”. The album features a plethora of talented artists, such as Young Thug, Travis Scott, and Doja Cat, among others. However, fans are particularly drawn to the track “Letter to My Brudda,” dedicated to 21 Savage’s incarcerated friend, Young Thug. In the song, 21 Savage addresses his issues with Gunna, who has allegedly been accused of snitching on his YSL labelmate in an ongoing RICO case.

It’s worth noting that Lil Baby, another Atlanta native, has also been vocal about his disapproval of Gunna’s alleged actions. He criticized Gunna for betraying Thugga by taking a plea deal in the same case, which secured his release from jail. Last year, during a concert, Lil Baby expressed his disapproval of Gunna’s actions by saying, “Fuck the rats, turn this shit off,” when his collaborative track with him was played at an event while he was on stage. Lil Durk has also been critical of Gunna’s conduct and has publicly spoken out against it. In an interview with Akademiks, Lil Durk condemned Gunna for his alleged actions in the YSL RICO case.

“That man told. You should’ve went in there and kept your mouth closed.”

It is uncertain whether Gunna will again address the criticism he has received from his former collaborators. Fans are still speculating about the ongoing feud between them. Gunna has repeatedly denied that he snitched on Young Thug and has publicly called for his release from jail. He made a statement shortly after he accepted his plea deal to reaffirm his position.

“While I have agreed to always be truthful, I want to make it perfectly clear that I have NOT made any statements, have NOT been interviewed, have NOT cooperated, have NOT agreed to testify or be a witness for or against any party in the case and have absolutely NO intention of being involved in the trial process in any way.”
