King Promise And Skepta Hint At A Possible Music Collaboration

Ghanaian musician King Promise and acclaimed British rapper Skepta have piqued their fans’ interest with a captivating glimpse of a possible musical collaboration.

The two were shown in the studio, embracing and exchanging warm greetings as a show of unity, in a widely shared video that has been making the rounds on the internet since Monday, February 12, 2024. Going viral on several social media platforms, the video featured King Promise and Skepta working together creatively in a studio setting.

Fans assumed that the musicians were possibly collaborating on a joint musical project because of their obvious chemistry and mutual admiration. One of Ghana’s most promising musicians, King Promise, has been on the winning track following his latest release; a two-pack single, “Perfect Combi,” which features London’s rising R&B talent Gabzy, and “Naana.”

With songs like “CCTV” and his debut album As Promised, which featured musicians like Wizkid and Shatta Wale, King Promise rose to fame in 2018. He’s been putting out well-received songs ever since. In 2022, he released his second album, “5 Star,” which had collaborations with musicians including as Vic Mensa, Omah Lay, Chance the Rapper, Patoranking, and the British group WSTRN on Bad N Rude.

Furthermore, one of his most recent hits, “Terminator,” has received over 29 million streams across streaming services.
