Latto And Christina Aguilera Surprise Fans With New Collaboration
Latto and Christina Aguilera have released an unexpected new song and video that appears to “eat” the competitors.
The music powerhouses debuted the initiative to the public on Thursday (October 12), which features them strolling down a luxurious stairwell while dressed in red Victorian-style gowns. The pair’s new collaboration is for Just Eat, a UK-based DoorDash-style app. Just Eat, as the song suggests, provides both restaurant meal delivery and grocery shopping.
Latto and Christina Aguilera are not the first American celebrities to get a payment from the company. Snoop Dogg was also tapped to do a similar single in November 2020, earning a tidy $7 million for his efforts. The women originally teased the song with a puzzling tweet exchange on Tuesday (October 10), providing just enough details to fans to pique their interest but also raising a lot of unanswered concerns.
In terms of teamwork during the past few years, Latto has excelled. For a remix of the Atlanta rapper’s “Big Energy,” which samples Mariah’s ’90s smash “Fantasy” with the late Ol’ Dirty Bastard, she secured the one and only Mariah Carey in 2022. Thanks to her “Seven” duet with BTS member Jung Kook, Latto became the first rapper to top the Billboard Hot 100 in 2023 over the summer.
