Christina Aguilera Postpones Her Two Residency Dates In Las Vegas Due To A Flu

Christina Aguilera has decided to temporarily halt her new residency in Las Vegas while she recuperates from a viral illness. The pop singer announced on Wednesday, January 3, that she has postponed her weekends’ gigs at Voltaire Belle de Nuit at The Venetian in order to heal.

Beginning on December 30 and 31, the five-time Grammy winner’s new residency featured two intimate stage performances of some of her greatest hits and fan-favorite songs. Aguilera thanked her followers for coming out to support the concert in her New Year’s Day message after the opening weekend.

She posted a teaser video of her residency rehearsal in late December on Instagram, where she could be heard singing “Guy What Takes His Time” from Burlesque, the 2010 movie she co-starred in with Cher. The singer shows off her powerful voice and dance skills as she practices the musical routine from the film.

Between commemorating Stripped’s 20th anniversary in 2022 and releasing her self-titled Spanish album, Aguilera has been very busy in the past year. In addition, on November 25, she has a show scheduled in Melbourne, Australia.

Aguilera first announced a partnership with Latto for Just Eat, the parent company of GrubHub and a delivery service in the United Kingdom, back in October of last year.
